Additionally, Microsoft is offering new subscribers the next three months of Xbox Game Pass for 1 USD if they sign up by June 30. The three-part Shadowrun Trilogy and Total War: Three Kingdoms are available now, and Xbox Game Pass is also offering up free DLC for previously available titles like Golf With Your Friends and Jurassic World Evolution 2. The upcoming list of new Xbox Game Pass titles will launch throughout the next few weeks, including options like FIFA 22 and Naraka: Bladepoint, which will be available for PC and Xbox consoles on June 23, and Far Cry 5 coming on PC and consoles on July 1. Xbox Game Pass is continuing its wave of solid new additions well into July, as announced by Xbox through a post on the official Xbox Game Pass Twitter account. UPlay+ lets you play the 'Deluxe' (or equivalent) versions of games, complete with all DLC and add-ons, and the Xbox Game Pass will likely let you do the same.While Sony is busy building up its own answer to Xbox Game Pass by relaunching its existing PlayStation Plus service with a new tier system and classic PS games, Microsoft continues to bolster its collection of available Xbox Game Pass titles with new entries. The insider rounds things off by saying that Immortals Fenyx Rising (launched in December 2020) would be the newest title of the lot. That isn't surprising, considering that Bethesda usually keeps its new AAA games away from subscription services for nine-ish months.
You'll still need to subscribe to UPlay+ separately to play newer titles such as the upcoming Far Cry 6, because they won't be available on Xbox Game Pass immediately. Microsoft could even increase Xbox Game Pass' base price too, because why not? It'll cost a little extra (about US$5), though, but that shouldn't be a problem, considering the sheer number of games you get to play. It could be worth it, as Microsoft plans to bring the whole suite of Bethesda games to Xbox Game Pass. However, we may have to wait till the end of 2021 for this to happen.
This time around, it comes from a well-known Xbox insider called Shpeshal Ed (via AltChar). Now that Microsoft has officially acquired Bethesda's parent company ZeniMax, the rumours are back again. Rumours about Microsoft merging UPlay+ with Xbox Game Pass have been around since late last year when both companies talked about their highly-anticipated merger.
